April 18 Virtual Event

Virtual Event

Saturday, April 18th, 2020

9 am to 11:30 am

Technology and social media are a part of the fabric of our daily lives. And now, with so many teachers moving to virtual learning, digital citizenship is even more important!

We know you are overwhelmed.

We know you have questions. Many questions.

We want to have a conversation about digital citizenship with you. Our goal is to intentionally and explicitly bringing conversations about how we can engage with each other meaningfully and positively in online spaces.

COVID-19 Update

Due to recent developments and at the advice of Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health regarding COVID -19 the Digital Citizenship Meetup Committee has decided to cancel the DigCitMeet20 conference.

The health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and partners is our top priority.

We are looking at rescheduling for October and we will keep you informed through this website.

Thank you for your support.

Registration is Now Open

Technology and social media are a part of the fabric of our daily lives. So often our conversations around digital citizenship are about what NOT to do. Our meet up is about intentionally and explicitly bringing conversations about how we can engage with each other meaningfully and positively in online spaces.

Come for interactive sessions, a playground, panel and focussed discussions. We have an incredible line up of speakers and thinkers. You will come away with ideas and a new way of thinking about the impact of technology of our lives.
